MAILLECHORT:

Maillechort is a French term for nickel silver. It is an ally of copper, zinc, and nickel.  An ally suppose to be more resistant and heavier than brass. With its silver aspect, it was often used long time ago till to date.  The 1 euro and 2 euros coins are made with Maillechort. In Morocco, it is often used to make beautiful ornaments and jewellery.

It is easy to maintain (same as any silver plated-silver object) and it doesn’t blacken as quick as any silver ornament.  

FATIMA HAND:

Fatima Hand or Khamsa is an amulet shaped like a hand.In Islam, the Khamsa is called the Hand of Fatima, in honor of one of the daughters of the Prophet Mohammed.

It is believed that it will protect against the “evil eye”, and it is a symbol of luck and prosperity. There is a widespread belief that it will protect the house and household from disasters.

Hand of Fatima can now be found as an attractive symbol in people’s homes or may even be worn by them as ornaments.

SABRA:  (SILK VEGETAL)

Sabra silk is hand-loomed in Morocco from a natural vegetable fibre from the Aloe Vera tree found in the Sahara Desert then dyed with vegetable dye.

The fabric is a 100 % vegetable silk. It is well known for its quality, strength, beauty, and high elasticity.  It makes Sabra Silk almost wrinkle-free.

It can be washed at 30 degrees or dry-cleaned, and it is safe to iron the fabric on a low steam.

TADELAKT:

Tadelakt is a nearly waterproof, polished plaster made from lime and finished with olive oil soap.

It has its origins in the city of Marrakech in Morocco. The Tadelakt technique is passed down from master to apprentice in an unbroken tradition that dates back several thousand years. Traditionally, it covers walls of the palaces, hammams and bathrooms of the Riads in Morocco. It is now used as well for different objects of decoration.

A Tadelakt surface is at once hard as stone and soft as silk.

FEZ:

Fes or Fez is the second largest city of Morocco.It is Morocco's oldest Imperial city and its "old town" is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Fes is famous for its pottery and for its production of handicrafts.

“The blue of Fez” is the trademark colour that you find in all of the pottery shops.

With no sign of modernism in the old “Medina” (town) among the equipment used by its artisans-workers, you know that your product has been definitely and carefully crafted by hand.

HOW TO USE YOUR “WAX HOLDER CANDLE”: (BEST WAY TO USE)

To make sure you will always keep your wax holding tea light candle, here are some tips:

When removing your tea light after use, you are then sure that the inside surface was never damaged with the heat of the tea light, as only some small pieces of the salt will have been absorbed by the tea light and not the wax of the candle.
